Dubai International Airport handles 65 airlines to 240 destinations and reported an influx of over 89 million passengers last year, making it the world’s busiest airport.

The DELMIA Quintiq application has been integrated in the airport’s IT landscape. The application enables automated capacity optimisation for fixed resources such as 212 airport stands, 142 gates, 526 check-in counters and 28 baggage belts.

The DTP tNexus Message Hub processes the data, which is then used as inputs by the DELMIA Quintiq application.

DTP managing director Abdul Razzak Mikati said: “DTP tNexus Message Hub provides the ability to parse 38 different types of custom, non-standard and standard messages, such as IATA Type B, ATC and email attachments.
