Aerodom, a subsidiary of VINCI Airports, has received the ISO 14001:2015 certification from Aenor for its environmental management system at two international airports in the Dominican Republic.
The ISO 14001:2015 certification ensures the deployment of the effective environmental management system at Las Americas (SDQ) and La Isabela (JBQ) international airports.

To receive the certification, the system should sustainably and continuously cut down the environmental footprint of the airport’s activities, involve all partners and employees in a common goal and consider the stakeholders’ expectations.
In addition, the environmental management system should ensure regulatory compliance of the airport’s activities to limit environmental effects and risks.

We are proud to receive this ISO 14001 certification for SDQ and JBQ, which confirms that we have an environmental management system in line with the best international practice.”
According to the VINCI environmental strategy, Aerodom has taken several measures such as minimising water consumption, ensuring biodiversity and green spaces, developing renewable energy and more.
