Cross-platform digital solutions provider CommonTime has secured a contract to develop 22 mobile applications for Manchester Airport Group (MAG) in the UK.

The applications are set to support various key operational requirements, including airfield safety inspections, audits and risk assessments at the airport.

They are accessed through a single hub application console and will include an airfield occurrence report, an aircraft turnaround audit and a hotspot inspection form.

MAG Airfield, Safety & Compliance head Chris Wild said: “I am extremely pleased that Commontime were selected by the Manchester Airports Group after a rigorous tender process. The applications will provide a consolidated operational capacity at the airport, which handles 26 million passengers annually.

They enable improvements in the capacity to capture and investigate actions associated with safety occurrences, partner with airlines, complete internal audit activity and also manage the effectiveness of operations.
