Sabena technics component solutions vice-president Ludovyc Lecherbonnier said: “We are very pleased with the solution AvAir has provided us and are delighted to keep strengthening our partnership of many years.”

Under the agreement, AvAir will gain new consumables and expendables, including both airframe and component surplus materials.

AvAir’s global customers will have access to all the acquired inventory, which is used for heavy maintenance on aircraft such as the Airbus family, ATR and C130.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, several aircraft remain grounded and would need to undergo maintenance checks to return to service, according to the company.
