World Low Cost Airlines Congress 2015

The World Low Cost Airlines is now in its 12th year and well established as a genuine world class aviation conference. We feature a spectacular line up of speakers from the industry, extensive coverage in national and international TV, print and trade press and a programme of a quality unrivalled anywhere in the business.

The event began in September 2004 at a tiny hotel in London. With no other conference dedicated purely to low cost carriers we saw a gap in the market. By inviting industry legends such as Tony Fernandes, Herb Kelleher and Michael O’Leary to battle it out and establish who had the best low cost business model we knew we were onto a winning formula.

Over the last 12 years we have seen countless CEOs from LCCs all around the World joining us at an event packed with inspiration, ideas and networking at the very highest level. From 100 senior executives in year 1 to nearly 1000 in 2015 the congress keeps on getting even bigger!

Particularly noteworthy of 2014 was the speaker faculty which was comprised of CEOs and other senior level members of LCCs. Many of these executives arranged a number of meetings with each other around the event, confirming the reputation of this as not just an industry forum, but also a place where real business gets done.

For the 12th year the WLCA format is being refreshed, to include more interviews with genuine aviation sector game-changers, new chat show-style panels (hosted by a well known broadcaster), interactive roundtables and a rapid-fire on-floor seminar showcasing the most exciting upcoming technology innovations.

Already confirmed for 2015 are industry leading CEOs such as Alex Cruz – Vueling, Bernard Gustin – Brussels Airlines, Sertac Haybat – Pegasus Airlines and Pieter Elbers – KLM.
