GPU&DC Units
Sinepower have been developing and manufacturing 400Hz solid-state frequency converters for more than a decade.
Sinepower designs and manufactures high-quality and efficient electrical power products for the aviation, aeronautical and maritime sectors.
The company offers environmentally friendly products that are easy to use and maintain, designed to meet the client’s requirements.
SinePower’s ground power unit (GPU) systems guarantee a safe, efficient and high-quality energy supply to all aircrafts in hangars and / or ramp aircraft maintenance.
Available as stationary or mobile units, the company’s GPUs offer various outputs, ranging from 30kVA up to 90kVA.
Sinepower’s SINE33I-SFC static frequency converter units provide clean, efficient and secure electrical power supplies by converting grid electricity to the appropriate load frequency.
The company’s converters guarantee a sinusoidal voltage wave form with less than 3% total harmonic distortion (THD) to supply the output load.
Sinepower SFCs are designed for shore-to-ship and ship-to-shore, as well as civil and military applications.
Sinepower delivers a wide range of reliable power solutions, including:
Features include:
All products meet various industry standards from SAE International, ISO, British Standards and the US Military.
Sinepower’s latest high-current rectifier can be used with the company’s GPUs, SFCs or by itself.
It comprises a durable AC-DC/DC-DC converter using field-effect transistor (FET) and insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) technology, and high-frequency isolation transformers to offer aircrafts a reliable 28V DC supply and crank current.
The high-current rectifier can withstand inrush currents of up to 2,400A and its high-frequency technology allows reduced size and accurate regulation.
Sinepower’s electronic voltage regulators (EVRs) provide a stabilised power supply solution where there are frequent voltage fluctuations, as well as guarantee stable voltage to sensitive loads.
The company’s EVRs combine voltage conditioning and stabilisation, promoting an optimal output sinusoidal wave shape, an instant response time (lower than half a cycle / 10ms), independent regulation by phase, and high levels of efficiency, inrush and current capabilities.
Sinepower’s lift inverters (LIs) supply emergency evacuation energy when there is a power failure.
They are suitable for all types of public buildings such as airports, schools, libraries, hospitals and offices.
Sinepower undergoes an extensive evaluation process, including document reviews, process mapping and quality management, as well as internal and external audits to achieve their ISO 9001: 2008 certification, the worldwide standard for quality management systems and practices.
The company’s GPUs, SFCs and quality management system are certified by TUV.
Based in Portugal, Sinepower has been operating in international and local markets. Approximately 90% of the company’s products are exported and it maintains commercial relations in countries such as Angola , Belgium, Cyprus, France, India, Luxemburg, The Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, UK, the US and Vietnam.
Sinepower also manufactures custom-made uninterruptable power supplies with lithium batteries (Buck-boost UPS units) for the Russian market via MOBEL, and are produced in the US by LTI INC under licence.
The company supplies frequency converters to the Estado Maior da Força Aérea (Portuguese Air Force) and many other Portuguese companies with its custom-made power solutions.
Sinepower’s GPUs, SFCs, ELIs and LIs are distributed by Aerotecs, J&D Dynamics, Lisatech, LTI, Magnus Power, MAK Controls & Systems, Powerstart, and PSI.
Sinepower have been developing and manufacturing 400Hz solid-state frequency converters for more than a decade.
Sinepower and Aerotecs - Aeronautical Tools, Equipment, Components and Services (Belgium) sign sales agreement for ground power units (GPU), 28V DC units and static frequency converters (SFC) in France, Belgium, Luxemburg and The Netherlands.
