Phindile Riba

Phindile Riba, whose expertise lies in corporate governance, change management, executive and senior management succession planning, HR Strategy, corporate social responsibility, leadership and management development, among others, has been appointed as the new ATNS chairperson.

She attained her Bachelors of Art degree in social sciences, public administration and political sciences from the University of Swaziland, and an MBA in strategic human resources management from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales.

Riba, who is the past board chairperson of the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), is currently an executive responsible for business transformation at Nedbank. She previously served as a non-executive director at Amscor Limited.

In a business career spanning 25 years, Riba has held senior management positions at SABC, Hardy and Associates, TFMC and Transtel.
