ATNS Appoints New Commercial Services Executive


Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) SOC Ltd has appointed Thabani Myeza as its commercial services department’s executive.

Myeza has worked for a number of organisations in leading growth and business development roles. He has extensive experience in developing and implementing growth and new market strategies including establishment of start-up operations both in SA and in the region.

The recent focus while with Tata Africa and General Electric has been on managing regional policy and regulatory issues, understanding their impact to the business and creating alignment with the operating environment.

Myeza’s career transcends diverse industries. He co-led the establishment of commercial business services for Rand Water. Prior to this he was part of the team that set up Vodacom business in Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

While working on various projects/initiatives Myeza has gained exposure in regional/international organizations such as the World Bank, European Investment Bank, NEPAD Agency and the World Economic Forum.

He holds a B Com degree (Accounting) from the University of Zululand and an MBA in General Management from Texas Southern University.
