Starting from May next year, the carrier will commence non-stop flights from Göteborg Landvetter Airport to Hamburg Airport four times a week.

The company will fly A319 and A320 aircraft types for this European route.

At present, Eurowings operates flights to Düsseldorf from Landvetter.

“Germany is one of the largest international markets and business partners for us and for the region, and the route meets the demand from both leisure and business travellers for convenient non-stop air travel to and from Hamburg.”

Eurowings also operates flights from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Hamburg and Düsseldorf.

The airline is preparing to launch a new base at Stockholm Arlanda in March next year.

Initially, Eurowings will deploy five aircraft there and introduce some new European destinations.

In June this year, Eurowings announced plans to operate at Sweden’s Malmö Airport through a new direct service to Kosovo’s capital Pristina.

Swedavia Group owns, manages, and develops ten airports across Sweden.

All these airports have reached the target of zero fossil carbon dioxide emissions from their own operations last year.
