Riyadh Airport Company (RAC) has teamed up with ADB Safegate to introduce a new airport management platform at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh.

The new solution will allow RAC, the operator of KKIA, to manage the airport’s operations using proactive and data-driven decision-making.

It will also help in planning, managing disruption and utilising the airport assets and resources in an optimal manner.

This platform will function as the central database for all operational information, whether generated manually or automatically from various sources of airport data.

The aim is to offer all flight-related data precisely in real-time.

RAC information and communications technology general manager Mohammed S Alshammari said: “KKIA is on a major digitalisation drive. Our goal is to enhance the overall passenger’s experience by adopting advanced solutions and digitally transforming the Saudi capital’s airport completely.
