Manchester Airport in the UK is set to close one of its terminals due to low passenger numbers amid the Covid-19 crisis.
The airport authority has decided to temporarily close Terminal Two from 2 September until further notice, while operations on the first and third terminals will continue.

The decision comes just a month after Manchester Airport opened Terminals Two and Three following the relaxation of some coronavirus-related travel restrictions.
As a result, all flights that were scheduled to take off or land at Terminal Two will be transferred to the other two terminals.
The car park at the terminal will also close from the same day as customers can transfer their booking to an alternative car park.
Manchester Airport managing director Karen Smart said: “Having re-opened Terminals Two and Three in July, we have continued to monitor the travel patterns of our airlines and passengers, in order to adapt our operations accordingly.

There will be no redundancies as a result of this closure, BBC reported, quoting an airport spokesperson.
Manchester is one of the busiest passenger airports in the UK. It handles around 19 million passengers annually with flights to more than 200 destinations.
