United Airlines is set to open its new Polaris lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport in the US.

The lounge features four private phone rooms, ten private daybeds, ten luxury shower suites and personal valet services that includes garment steaming.

It is equipped with 15 different types of seating facilities across a total of 455 seats, with 570 power outlets and 450 USB ports. The lounge spans over 27,000ft².

United Polaris is located in Terminal C, following security screening, between Gates C102 and C120.

The lounge is also equipped with a private dining area with table space for up to 48 guests, as well as a bistro buffet and a bar offering cocktails.

The launch of the United Polaris lounge at New York/Newark comes after the opening of the United Polaris lounge at San Francisco International Airport in April this year.

The United Polaris lounge at George Bush Intercontinental in Houston and the lounge at Los Angeles International Airport are slated for opening this year.
