Turkish Airlines Inc and Belavia Belarusian Airlines have signed a codeshare agreement to provide passengers with more travel options between Turkey and Belarus.

Pursuant to the deal, both airlines will mutually place their codes on flights between Istanbul, Turkey, and Minsk, Belarus.

Royal Jordanian Airlines has raised JOD10.99m ($15.45m) through the issuance of new shares in a private placement.

The company has issued 28.2 million units at a price of JOD0.39 ($0.54) a unit to Government Contributions Managing Co.

Spanish airline Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana has signed a codeshare agreement with French airline OpenSkies, which operates as LEVEL.

“Fredericton International Airport Authority and the governments of Canada and New Brunswick have signed an agreement to fund the terminal expansion at Fredericton International Airport.”

Iberia will offer its scheduled international services between member states of the European Community and Canada on flights operated by LEVEL under the agreement.

The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has selected Unisys to operate, maintain and protect screening equipment at airports in the US.

Unisys will develop, implement and maintain a suite of mission-critical applications to protect the security screening equipment using Unisys Stealth® software under the $250m Domain Awareness Integrated Network (DOMAIN) support services blanket purchase agreement.

Unisys solutions will help integrate data from security equipment to provide real-time threat awareness.

Fredericton International Airport Authority (FIAA) and the governments of Canada and New Brunswick have signed an agreement to fund the terminal expansion at Fredericton International Airport (YFC).

Both governments will provide up to C$9m ($7.03m) through the provincial-territorial infrastructure component national and regional projects (PTIC-NRP), while FIAA will be responsible for the remaining cost.

Part of the funding will be used for the installation of additional ticket counters and modernisation of the security screening area.

Expansion works at YFC are expected to start in the second half of 2018.
