Stellar Partners founder and CEO Susan Stackhouse told media sources: “Stellar is honoured to be entering Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport as part of its modernisation project giving travellers access to in-demand national and local retail products.

“We thank the airport and the City of Phoenix for this opportunity to connect travellers with retail essentials, leading brand names, and local vendors they will only find while visiting Arizona.”

Stellar News + Market will be located in the T3 North Concourse and will offer an assortment of local merchandise. An in-store Starbucks will also be available for travellers.

“The final phase, which is slated to be completed in 2020, will include a renovated north concourse with new shops and restaurants.”

An open market store-within-a-store ‘Best of the Valley’ concept inspired by Phoenix Magazine’s local guide will also be opened at the T3 South Concourse.

Furthermore, Phoenix retailer Travel Outfitters at T3 will merchandise various types of bags and travel accessories.

Terminal 3 is currently undergoing a three-part modernisation programme.  In December 2015, the first phase of the modernised terminal opened to the public. During this phase, a consolidated security checkpoint, new airline ticket counters, and an outdoor plaza were added.

The second phase is scheduled to be completed in late-2018 / early-2019 and will provide an all-new South Concourse with a number of new food and retail concessions, airline hold rooms, and new customer amenities. A 15-gate concourse will also be added.

The final phase, which is slated to be completed in 2020, will include a renovated north concourse with new shops and restaurants.
