Deutsche Post DHL Group and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are set to partner with Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company to carry out the Get Airports Ready for Disaster (GARD) programme at Mehrabad International Airport.

The workshop, which is set to be performed from 25 to 29 November this year in Tehran, was developed in 2009 by Deutsche Post DHL Group and the UNDP in a bid to prepare airports in disaster-prone areas to tackle the surge of incoming relief goods after a calamity occurs.
