Broward County Aviation Department has secured a grant of $59m from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for a new in-line baggage system for terminals 2, 3 and 4 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida, US.

The new system will minimise the handling of bags as they are transported from the pavement or ticket counters to the ramp area for aircraft loading.
