First Pacific may bid for Manila International Airport as the Philippine Government looks to sell the facility to raise $2.5bn.
The government plans to build a bigger facility north of Manila in the Clark Freeport Zone, and will either retain both airports or just the Clark facility depending on tourism growth.
First Pacific, San Miguel and Ayala are among the companies seeking to bolster revenue from the Philippine’ expansion in airports, power and mining as the government seeks to divest its assets.
