AIT is designed to enhance security by safely screening passengers for metallic and non-metallic threats such as weapons, explosives and objects that can be concealed under layers of clothing.
The machines will be deployed with new automated target recognition software, which will ensure passenger privacy by eliminating passenger-specific images.
