Skyborne Technology, a subsidiary of UAV, in partnership with Atlantic Industrial Group has initiated a joint venture to enhance manufacturing capabilities at the Wewahitchka, Florida, US facility.
The collaboration aims to produce advanced drone models and establish an in-house design centre for airships and drones, utilising large-scale 3D printing technology. This venture is set to create lightweight airframe parts, wing structures, and cockpits.

The Wewahitchka facility in Gulf County, will continue to develop Skyborne’s semi-rigid spherical airships, with both companies utilising the Costin airport for flight operations.
The airport’s infrastructure has been recently completed, supported by a grant from the Federal Economic Development Administration and the Florida Department of Commerce, paving the way for a future hangar facility to house the aircraft and airships.
Atlantic Industrial Group will focus on integrating custom drones into Skyborne’s lighter-than-air platforms.
The factory is expected to generate high-paying roles in drone fabrication, digital design, and business development, in response to the increasing demand for advanced technologies.

AIG holds several technology licences and plans to cater to government contracts and private security needs with its vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicles, energy generation, and propulsion systems.
The integration of AIG’s drones with Skyborne’s airship platforms is anticipated to serve a wide range of applications, from government operations to private security.
