The in-building wireless network will also support all of Denmark’s major mobile service providers.

TE collaborated with Caverion in Denmark to cover the airport concourses. Around 83 remote antennas, related hubs, and both fibre and CATV cabling were installed.

"At airports, schedules change quickly and passengers and employees need to maintain contact."

Caverion spokesman Klaus Kjeldsen said: "The airport was in need of better interior mobile coverage and capacity to meet the increasing demand, and the InterReach Fusion DAS from TE will give travelers and employees the world-class mobile services they desire."

The wireless coverage will allow the airport to offer improved mobile connectivity to passengers while supporting its 1,700 staff that depends on mobile devices to facilitate critical communications.
