The aircraft, to be operated under a lease agreement with AerCap, will be deployed on European scheduled services from Ljubljana.

Powered by IAE V2500 engines, the A319 will fly 135 passengers in a two-class cabin layout.

Adria will receive another A319 in the future, which will be leased through AerCap.
