A Hamilton Sundstrand unit, Kidde Aerospace & Defense, will provide the integrated fire and overheat protection systems for Commercial Aviation Corporation of China’s (COMAC) new C919 aircraft.
The system includes engine and alternative power unit (APU) fire detectors, wheel well and bleed duct overheating sensors, cargo and lavatory smoke detectors, fixed fire extinguishers and portable fire extinguishers for the cockpit and cabin.
