The Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations has received two multirole Ka-32A helicopters from Russian Helicopters.
The aircraft was recently demonstrated before the ministry, following its acceptance on 1 May 2010.

Built by Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise, the coaxial helicopters can carry out missions including cargo or passenger transportation, construction, firefighting, search and rescue, patrol and surveillance.
The Ka-32A, powered by TV3-117VMA engines, can fly at a speed of up to 260km/h and carry 5,000kg of external load.
It has capacity for up to 13 passengers and can be fitted with various equipment depending on the mission.
The coaxial rotors enable greater precision and control in highly turbulent atmospheres.
