Airbus has delivered the first of eight A330 aircraft to Saudi Arabian Airlines.
The aircraft were ordered in July 2008.

Saudi Arabian Airlines director general Khalid al Molhem said that with rising passenger demand, the A330 was the ideal aircraft.
Powered by Rolls-Royce engines, the long-range twin-aisle aircraft will be able to fly up distances of up to 5,650nm.
