Emirates has taken delivery of a new A380 airliner from Airbus, bringing its fleet of the aircraft up to ten.

It is the 13th A380 to be delivered for commercial use by the France-based aerospace company.

The wide-body double-decker aircraft can carry up to 525 passengers a distance of 8200nm at speeds of up to Mach 0.89.

This latest aircraft delivered to Emirates is on display at the ILA Berlin Air Show, which will continue until 13 June 2010.

At present, Airbus has 202 firm orders from 17 customers for the aircraft.
