A fourth Gulfstream G650 S/N 6004 aircraft has entered the flight programme to validate the new G650 series of aircraft.

The fourth G650 (S/N 6004) made its first test flight on 6 June 2010 and spent over five hours in the air.

A production aircraft, the S/N 6004 will be the first of the series to be outfitted and tested with a full interior later this summer.

The S/N 6004 will be used to evaluate the aircraft’s cabin systems and will resume flight testing following the installation.

The four aircraft in the G650 flight-test programme have completed over 85 flights and 240 flight-test hours.

Powered by Rolls-Royce BR725 engines, the G650 business jet will be capable of travelling 7,000nm at Mach 0.85.
