Concur TripIt business development senior director Jugdeep Bal said: "Millions of travelers already turn to TripIt when they are on their way to the airport, checking in or passing through to catch a connection, so we’re especially excited about extending the value of TripIt to other airport experiences and services.

"By focusing on making the process of flying in and out of Auckland as easy as possible, the team at Auckland Airport is building a one-of-a-kind experience for travelers that we’re thrilled to be a part of."

While the app will be available for passengers in the next few weeks, users can already sign up for it.

"We look forward to working with TripIt so that together we can provide our travelers with the best experience possible."

The airport will launch an awareness campaign about TripIt and real-time flight alerts system TripIt Pro across the country through the app.
