Lufthansa has placed an order for eight additional CRJ900 NextGen regional jets from Bombardier, exercising previously announced purchase rights.
The contract is valued at approximately $317m.

The CRJ900 NextGen will be configured with 86 passenger seats.
Lufthansa, together with its regional partners, previously ordered a total of 109 Bombardier CRJ Series regional jets including CRJ100, CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900 and CRJ900 NextGen aircraft.
