GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, is planning to lease two new Airbus A330-300 aircraft to China Airlines to further expand its fleet.

The A330 has a range of up to 5,450nm and is capable of carrying 300 passengers in a typical two-cabin arrangement.

The twin-engine A330-300 incorporates digital fly-by-wire flight controls, an efficient wing, and more than ten tons of lightweight composite structures in its airframe.

Delivery of the first aircraft is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2013.
