Swedish airport operator Swedavia, in collaboration with China’s Capital Airports Holding Company (CAH), has established a sister airport relationship between Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Sweden, and Beijing Capital International Airport, China.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the only Scandinavian airport to be served by a Chinese airline, Air China. In 2013, the airline celebrated 25 years of operating in the airport.

Since 2000, passenger travel between Beijing and Stockholm has grown ten times faster than other international passenger traffic at Arlanda, as stated by Swedavia.
