OmniServ has been contracted to deliver services to persons with reduced mobility (PRMs) at England’s Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

A three-year contract will allow the airport service provider to continue expanding PRM services within the aviation industry across the UK.

The major reason behind securing the new PRM contract is the company’s latest technology system, which has been developed at Heathrow and Stansted.

OmniServ’s technology can collect information on passengers and their specific assistance requirements, thereby enabling the team to deliver an efficient and personalised service to each PRM traveller.

OmniServ managing director Antony Marke said: "We are delighted to have secured yet another UK airport contract and excited at the prospect of working with Liverpool John Lennon Airport to provide the best possible experience to its PRM passengers."

Commencing on 14 April, the PRM contract will help the company expand its presence at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, where it already provides retail support and activities through its travel retail unit, Blackjack Promotions.

With the present contract at Liverpool Airport, OmniServ’s PRM services have reached four UK airports, including Heathrow, Edinburgh and Stansted.

Scotland’s Edinburgh airport also signed a three-year PRM contract with the company, which was slated to begin on 14 March.
