London’s Heathrow Airport has seen a record traffic flow of 6.1 million passengers last month.
This figure marks a 2.5% growth in passenger numbers compared to March 2015.

The increasing passenger traffic at the airport is said to be a result of fast-growing markets in different countries.
The airport saw a 12% rise in passengers travelling to China, while numbers to the Middle East increased by 9%, Mexico by 6%, and India by 4%.
Airlines at Heathrow benefited from the launch of new aeroplanes, including the A380s.
In March, Emirates launched an extra flight to accompany its existing five daily services to Dubai.

Vietnam Airlines has launched new services and increased its frequency to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City after transferring from Gatwick Airport last year.
British Airways has also introduced new flights to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, while Garuda Indonesia will start its first direct services from the UK to Jakarta.
The new and improved connections have resulted in the significant growth of passenger and cargo volumes in East Asia, which is up by 6%.
The new services have also ensured better and more convenient access for British small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Southeast Asian market.
Heathrow CEO John Holland-Kaye said: "It isn’t just Indonesia waiting to access the UK’s only hub – there is a queue of over 30 airlines waiting for slots from Heathrow.
"With expansion, we can supercharge British trade by opening up 40 new long-haul trading links with the fastest growing markets in the world."
Heathrow has also deployed a new WebPortal to consolidate freight loads, as well as reduce the amount of trucks on roads around the airport.
In March 2015, the airport had 5.95 million passengers travelling to and from its terminals.
