Saint Helena Airport in the British Overseas Territory of Saint Helena has completed its third operational readiness trial, followed by an open day.

Local volunteers and primary school children gained insight into the services to be available at the airport once it is completely operational and starts serving commercial flights.

During the open day, staff members answered questions and led invitees through the airport’s terminal building, control tower, and fire-fighting and rescue facility.
