"Not only are we regenerating a key suburb of Paris, but we are pushing the boundaries of traditional business practice, financial models and sustainability to deliver a word-class airport city."

Named the Lindbergh Aerotropolis, the new airport city will serve as an aeronautical base camp for visitors to the Paris Air Show, which is held on alternating years at Le Bourget Airport.

"We are pushing the boundaries of traditional business practice, financial models and sustainability to deliver a word-class airport city."

It will be developed in partnership with German-based Nox, and feature Airports Kinesis Consulting’s latest astro-aeronautic concept.

The city will be an autonomous area that only uses renewable energy processes, including constructed wetlands and a new geothermal solution based on the extraction of heat from a geo plutonic source.

The complex extraction of energy from ground (CEEG) solution will supply 12MW of constant electricity to buildings in the city.

It is expected to enable private equity companies or venture capitals to invest in the project, while governments raise their revenues, create job opportunities and enhance the local quality of education and services.
