Bombardier Aerospace has officially opened its new aircraft maintenance centre at Seletar Airport in Singapore, marking the company’s tenth worldwide and the second outside North America.
The new service facility features 3,000m² of hangar space, 3,500m² of dedicated ramp, as well as 3,500m² of workshop, warehouse and office space.

With a staff of more than 40 employees, the centre is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations and aircraft on ground (AOG) support for Bombardier’s Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft.
Bombardier Aerospace customer services and specialised and amphibious aircraft president Michel Ouellette said: "The addition of the Singapore service centre strengthens our expanding presence in the region and provides Bombardier business aircraft customers with high-quality maintenance support and access to the entire network closer to their base of operations."
Singapore Economic Development Board assistant managing director Lim Kok Kiang added: "Bombardier’s presence reinforces Singapore’s position as the leading aerospace hub in this region."
In addition to the new Singapore facility, Bombardier’s maintenance network includes Amsterdam facility and eight other service centres in North America.

By GlobalDataThe new service centre has already secured certifications from Singapore, EASA, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Philippines, Malaysia, and is able to support Australian, Isle of Man and FAA registered Bombardier business aircraft models.
The company expects to receive Hong Kong, China, India and Canada approvals this year.
