China Southern Airlines

Boeing has delivered a new 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft to China Southern Airlines, the first aircraft of ten 777-300ERs ordered by the Asian airline.

China Southern intends to operate the new 777-300ER on its new North America route, where the aircraft will directly connect passengers in the southern region of China to the eastern coast of the US.

China Southern Airlines chief operating officer Zhang Zifang said: "The 777-300ER will support the development of Guangzhou as our main international hub and will be a vital part of our ‘Canton Route’ services."

"The Boeing 777-300ER is able to fly up to 7,825nm and is equipped with GE90-115B engines."

The Boeing 777-300ER offers twin-engine efficiency and reliability for the long-range market. It is able to fly up to 7,825nm and is equipped with GE90-115B engines.

China Southern’s 777-300ER features four distinct cabins; four first class seats; 34 business class seats; 44 premium economy seats; and 227 economy seats, to accommodate a total of 309 passengers.
