Private equity firm Liberty Hall Capital Partners has acquired UK-based performance critical component provider Bromford Industries.

Following the acquisition, Bromford will help Liberty Hall create an extensive engine component supplier to the aerospace and power generation industries through organic investments and strategic acquisitions.

Both firms have yet to disclose the terms of the transaction.

Established in 2009, Bromford has facilities in Birmingham, Alcester and Leicester, and serves companies such as GE, Messier-Buggatti-Dowty, Rolls Royce, Siemens and Snecma.

Prior to the latest acquisition, Liberty Hall bought AIM Aerospace last month.

AIM Aerospace provides composite ducting, substructural and interiors parts for the commercial aerospace industry.

In 2013, Liberty Hall established Accurus Aerospace, a fully integrated Tier II aerostructures supplier.

Since its creation, Accurus completed three strategic acquisitions, including Precise Machining & Manufacturing in 2013, McCann Aerospace Machining in 2014 and LaCroix Industries last year.

Liberty Hall stated that since 2000, many of its principals have invested $2.2bn in equity capital in eleven platform and eight add-on acquisitions, which serve the aerospace and defense industry as well as corresponding industrial end markets.
