Based in Turkey, the acquirer provides air transportation services and aircraft maintenance services.

KLX has completed a $210m acquisition of Herndon Aerospace & Defense, a joint venture between Herndon Products (HPI) and Polygon Aerospace, in an all-cash transaction.

KLX distributes aerospace fasteners and consumables and provides value-added services in the aerospace sector, while Herndon provides commercial services for the aviation and defence industries.

The acquisition is expected to help KLX to increase its customer base in the aftermarket supply chain management solutions market.
