The acquisition is a part of Aerostar’s strategy of identifying and combining high-performing suppliers in the fragmented aerospace machined component industry.

The merged entity operates a combined facility footprint of more than 100,000ft and serves several aerospace customers.

"We believe that Warmelin’s adjacent capabilities will make the combined business a much stronger partner to our customers."

With the acquisition, Aerostar aims to expand its presence in the Southern California region and continue its acquisition strategy in the region.

Aerostar Aerospace CEO Joe Muklevicz said: "We are extremely happy to welcome Warmelin into the Aerostar family, and look forward to helping to support their growth alongside ours in the years to come.
