More than 60 owners and operators worldwide are currently operating the Q400 aircraft family aircraft.

In April, Bombardier announced that Russian leasing company Ilyushin Finance (IFC) had converted an option on one Q400 aircraft to a firm order.

The deal has brought the total number of Q400 orders placed by IFC to two, which will be operated by Kenya-based budget carrier Jambojet on lease from IFC.
