Terma will also integrate the SMR into the airport’s advanced surface movement guidance and control system (A- SMGCS) as the primary non-corporative surveillance sensor.

The upgrade will enhance safety by allowing air traffic controllers to monitor, guide and instruct aircraft, vehicles and personnel at the airport.

Admaterials Technologies, a unit of Exova’s soil testing service, has secured a contract to perform earthwork testing at Changi East Development at Changi Airport, Singapore.

The contractual scope includes handling of standard laboratory, grading, compaction and classification earthworks testing, plate loading, field density and swell testing.
