“Heathrow’s new expansion plan and the fact it is supported by a majority of people living near the airport gives the Prime Minister the confidence to make the right choice for a stronger British economy and approve Heathrow expansion.”

Already backed by businesses, trade unions, politicians and airlines, a new third runway at Heathrow Airport is expected to add 40 new long-haul routes, and connect exporters to growing markets in Asia, South America and Africa.

A recent poll by UK market research consultancy ComRes has revealed that two thirds of MPs think the Heathrow expansion will boost Britain’s economy.
