Star Alliance has launched a premium lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands. The lounge is located airside on the Panorama terrace level.
The new Star Alliance Lounge is open for eligible first and business class passengers along with Star Alliance Gold Card holders.
Paid lounge members of the Air Canada Maple Leaf Worldwide Club and United Club programmes can also access the new lounge from 8 March.
Star Alliance, working with Amsterdam-based architectural design firm D-Dock, has instilled the local essence of Amsterdam into the new lounge.
The design is inspired by the ever-changing Dutch landscape and includes furniture creations and decoration pieces of original Dutch design.
Passengers can enjoy free Wi-Fi across the lounge, as well as a mixture of standard and USB power outlets for recharging electronic gadgets.
