St Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) is implementing the Concessionaire Analyzer+ (CA+) software application to maximise non-aeronautical revenues.

The application will provide the airport a better understanding of its sales patterns, in order to increase performance of the concessions, as well as improve control and auditing of the business process.

"Our commercial team will be able to closely monitor sales patterns, identify category performance, benchmark concessions and identify trends more quickly."

SXM managing director Regina LaBega said: "Through the implementation of CA+, our commercial team will be able to closely monitor sales patterns, identify category performance, benchmark concessions and identify trends more quickly, in order to ultimately improve our non-aeronautical revenues as a percentage of total revenues."

The application will also combine sales data with passenger numbers extracted from the airport’s data systems to compare revenue per passenger by product category, concession, date, terminal, zone and a wide range of other useful metrics.

The sales data analysis will help SXM to adjust retail mix to reflect demand, as well as improve negotiations with concessions and airlines.

SXM will also use the contract management, revenue calculation and billing automation functions of CA+ to automate billing based on the sales data collected by the system.
