Airport baggage handling systems provider Logan Teleflex has secured a $2m contract from Minot International Airport in Minot, North Dakota, US.

A subsidiary of Daifuku Webb, Logan Teleflex will install ticketing and transporting conveyors, inbound flat plate reclaim devices and an outbound security screening system at Minot’s new terminal.

Minot is building a new terminal in order to cater to its increasing number of passengers, which is due to a growth in the population, as well as an influx of workers and residents.

Daifuku Webb global airport baggage handling managing director Brian Stewart said: "In today’s world, we understand that a dependable, security conscious and efficient baggage handling system is more critical than ever.
