Air transport solutions provider JBT AeroTech has entered into a contract worth more than $6m to provide gate equipment for the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport.

This deal is a part of the airport’s Concourse T optimisation project.

Placed by Winter Johnson Group, the order will include delivery of passenger boarding bridges, preconditioned air units and ground power devices of up to 400Hz.

The company expects to start the installation of the equipment by the third quarter of this year and expects to complete the project by the end of the year.

Recently, JBT AeroTech also signed a contract exceeding $8m with the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport to equip them with similar gate equipment.
