Jetex has signed an agreement with Falcon Aviation to manage its FBO and hangar at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai.

The move marks a significant milestone for the private aviation industry as the company becomes the operator of a private terminal that covers more than 32,000ft².

The new passenger lounge at Al Maktoum International Airport will complement Jetex’s existing facilities to cater to the increasing demand for private jet travel in the region.

Under the terms of the agreement, Jetex will be responsible for improving the lounge at the airport to provide consistent service standards to the customers.

In addition, travellers will have priority access to a range of new elegant extras, including dedicated spaces for those who seek privacy, luxury en-suite bedrooms and a kids club.

The FBO is open to all operators, corporates and private individuals arriving with their business jets and facilitates quick and convenient helicopter charters between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in a short amount of time.

Jetex founder and CEO Adel Mardini said: “I am pleased to sign the management agreement with Falcon Aviation, which will cement our position as a one-stop solution in the world of private aviation.

“It will allow international travelers to benefit from the enhanced passenger facilities at the Jetex VIP Terminal.

“With the dedicated hangar in Dubai, we will also be able to provide world-class support to aircraft owners and operators.”

Under the new agreement, Jetex will also manage Falcon Aviation’s Code-F Plot hangar located on a 258,000ft² plot.

The air-conditioned hangar has been designed and equipped to meet the growing demand for aircraft hangarage in Dubai. It has an additional apron space of 140,000ft² to handle and store aircraft safely.
