
IER has deployed 30 self-service check-in kiosks and 12 self-service bag-drop units in the newly renovated Terminal 1 at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport in Morocco.
The new terminal features modern designs and technologies and is said to be the most modern airport in the country.
The airport is aiming to meet the increasing passenger traffic with the installation of the IER 919 check-in kiosks and i820 self-service bag-drop units.
IER worked closely with Royal Air Maroc teams to contribute to the launch of the new technology.
IER airports and airlines activity vice-president Jean-Luc Rauline said: “The partnership between IER and Royal Air Maroc is based on mutual trust and Royal Air Maroc was the first customer to give IER its confidence in ordering our latest generation self-service bag-drop product.
“We are convinced that the implementation of IER self-service solutions will increase Royal Air Maroc passenger satisfaction and experience.”
Royal Air Maroc passengers departing from the terminal can avail hassle-free with the new check-in process. Incoming travellers can also complete their check-in at a kiosk and proceed to the bag drop positions.
The newly introduced check-in kiosks and self-service bag-drop units have all been customised to match Royal Air Maroc brand guidelines.
