AAHK stated that shops and restaurants are gradually resuming their businesses at the airport terminal with a growth in passenger volumes.

The operator will forgo the base rent for tenants that have opened their outlets, as well as the rental for retail and catering tenants whose operations remain stalled.

It said the relief measures would be reviewed depending on the changing circumstances.

The package was first announced in February  2020.

In October 2020, AAHK extended the relief measures to the end of that year, citing poor travel demand amid the pandemic.
