Bristol Airport in the UK has announced that UK-based low-cost carrier easyJet will operate additional flights from the airport from 1 July.
EasyJet will implement additional bio-security measures before operating these further domestic and international flights.

On 20 May, easyJet faced a cyberattack from a ‘highly sophisticated source’, which led to the data compromise of around nine million passengers.
The airline resumed some domestic flights on 15 June from Bristol Airport, which marked the first flights since the fleet was grounded due to Covid-19.
EasyJet plans to operate 36 routes next month and 57 in August from Bristol to different destinations in Europe.
From 1 July, flights will be operated to Paris, Berlin and Madrid, among other destinations.

By GlobalDataIn July, easyJet aims to fly approximately 50% of its 1,022 routes and increase this to 75% the following month.
The airline has also implemented different safety measures to limit the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, including the use of face masks.
Bristol Airport CEO Dave Lees said: “We are delighted with the news extending the number of easyJet flights available from Bristol Airport from 1 July 2020. For customers in the South West and Wales region it continues to offer a greater choice and flexibility of destinations available using their local airport.
“This announcement demonstrates the long-term collaboration and joint growth strategy between easyJet and Bristol Airport, which we will continue to develop further in the future.”
In April, Bristol Airport opened a drive-in Covid-19 testing centre for National Health Service (NHS) workers.
